WW1 French Infantry Adrian Helmet
A very clean French M15 Adrian helmet with original chinstrap & flaming grenade insignia for infantry troops ( Also cavalry , cyclists , train etc ) .
This helmet is finished in the darker blue as seen from around 1916 onwards this darker colour replacing the earlier more conspicuous 1915 lighter blue. Badge is original to the helmet, the flaming grenade being traditional to the infantry. Chinstrap is of the typically early thin leather with black painted metal chinstrap buckle. Interior of helmet shows only minimal wear with the 1916 onwards multi construction liner havinf original tightening lace intact. All of its corrugated ventilation strips are present.
