WW2 British X6 Binoculars In '37 Patt Case 1943/40
Classic pair of British army X6 binoculars in '37 pattern webbing case.
Binoculars marked ' Bino Prism No.2 MKIII X6' & 'Taylor-Hobson 1943' . Both shoulders broad arrow marked. There are graticule markings although I cannot see these when viewed. To the bottom of the binoculars can be seen red screws this denoting the use of a filling gas which prevented misting of the lenses. Optics are generally good for their age with both oculars still focussable. Webbing case is from the '37 pattern equipment & marked ' MECO 1940' ( Mills Equipment Company ).
