WW1 British 'PULLMAN A1' Trench Armour Set

Scarce British private purchase WW1 'Pullman A1 Shield' which was featured in an advertisement in 'War Dragon' the Buffs regimental magazine of October 1916.
Advertised by ' The OW Cuirass Syndicate' as ' the lightest & most efficient of all steel shields' it was allegedly found proof against 'shrapnel bullets at 700 feet per second velocity ' & ' any enemy service revolver at point blank , bayonet or lance. ' Folding into a lightweight compact size with fitment straps to top & bottom.
