WW1 British Souvenir Ashtray

A WW1 British Mills bomb souvenir made into an ashtray design with hinged top to the hollow bomb mounted onto a cigarette recessed base.
On one side of the base is an inscription that reads ' Memento of the Great War actual hand grenade casting as used by the allies ' . The other side reads ' Regd. No 651542. 1915 ' .
Interesting piece & typical of the war mementoes that could be found in homes during & after the first world war.
