WW2 Canadian Helmet With Camouflage Net 1941
A textbook near mint Canadian made steel helmet dated 1942 with camouflage net.
This helmet is in what appears to be almost unworn condition with its original & totally correct factory green painted shell & distinctive soft rubberised liner . Underside lip of shell is marked 'CL/C 1942' for the fimr 'Canadian Lamp Company' with liner cradle marked ' 7 1/4 V.M.C. 1942 ' for the Canadian firm 'Viceroy Manufacturing Co'. The soft rubberised liner appears as good as the day it left the factory & is undamaged with tightening lace still present to tongues. Finally the distinctive Canadian chinstrap is excellent with Canadian ordnance marking of a broad arrow within 'C' ink stamped to its underside. Camouflage net is a wartime issue & came in situ on the helmet so I have left as found.
