WW2 British MkII Helmet 1940

A WW2 British MkII helmet with 1940 dated helmet shell & liner cradle.
Finished in a rough textured granulated khaki paint finish the smooth underside of the shell is marked 'F&L 1940' for the firm Fisher & Ludlow. Liner cradle marked 'TTC 1940' this for the firm Teddy Toy Company another well known Dagenham based British helmet liner manufacturer in WW2 from 1939-1941. Chinstrap is of the second pattern seen after 1940 of one piece elasticated webbing. Overall in excellent condition with some newspaper remnants stuck to the rexene of the liner from having been loft stored for some time.
