Vietnam War USMC Helmet With 'Gunny Sergeant ' Insignia To Front
A Vietnam period USMC helmet with camouflage cover & Airborne liner of the 'Tet Offensive' period .
This rather 'salty' combat helmet displays hard wear throughout with its cover well stained & worn through constant use. One tongue still shows a partial part of its contract number to underside. The liner has a mid green overpaint this being a classic USMC adornment with the Gunnery sergeant rank insignia to front indicative of a long serving veteran Marine.
Liner cradle marked with a '64 date & DSA contract number. The female buckle is minus.
