WW1 French Artillery Officer M15 Adrian Helmet

A WW1 French Artillery officers M15 Adrian helmet in the early light blue paint finish of circa 1915 .
Not having been subject to the 1916 dark blue overpaint this helmet also displays a one piece first pattern liner with corrugated air ventilation strips still present in between the liner band & the shell. Officers had the choice of purchasing a plaid chinstrap if they so desired , as is the case here. Clearly original to this helmet it denotes his rank of officer very clearly & displays wear marks commensurate to its positioning on the lip of the helmet.
