A rare pair of untouched 1940 dated British army ankle boots complete with original laces.
These boots are a 100% matching pair with markings to insole for an incredibly rare Size '9L' ( 9 Large ) & manufacturer 'Walker Bros 1940' . The size '9' is repeated on the bottom of each boot with a War Department broad arrow stamp. Both marked to neck with 'W/ID' War Department stamp this only partially discernible on one boot.
