WW2 British Netted Camouflage MkIII Turtle Helmet 1944

A classic British infantrymans MkIII Turtle helmet with scrim camouflage netting as worn by British troops in Normandy.
With the distinctive high rivets of wartime manufactured examples the shel has been finished in khaki with a small gauge camouflage net & string to its exterior on which to attach extra foliage . Added to this the tied on piece of scrim mame a very effective camouflage for the hedgerows of Normandy. Interior liner is marked 'BMB' with the date '1944' . Its original elasticated chinstrap is still present.
