WW1 French Colonial M15 Adrian Helmet

A rare early M15 Adrian helmet of Colonial troops with flaming grenade on anchor insignia to front & in the early light blue colour of the first 1915 productions. It is interesting to note the slightly lighter blue shade of the M15 Colonial badge this is a common feature as badges were applied seperately & prepainted elsewhere before application to the shell. A 'JAPY' produced example there is only minimal wear to its exterior. Helmet has first model one piece liner with size mark '57B1' , tightening still present. Corrugated ventilation strips are still present to each side. Leather chinstrap is intact & still supple.
