WW1 French Engineers Senior NCOs Tunic From '8th Engineers'
Stunning WW1 French NCOs tunic to a man of the 7th Engineer regiment.
Tunic very much resembles the officer style & is cut in the 'new style' which was seen from the midwar period onwards . This much resembled the British officer tunics of the period. With large lower bellows pockets & pleated chest pockets that have straight pocket flaps this is typical of the numerous variations of French tunics of the period. Reduced rank insignia of a bar to each cuff denotes sergeant. Full fronted with brass Engineers buttons giving this tunic the style befitting of a senior NCO.
Overall in very good condition.
