WW1 German M17 Camouflage Helmet
WW1 German camouflage helmet in tan ochre & brown with finger thick black dividing lines between each segment.
A visually striking helmet & an interesting variant of the various camouflage schemes painted by German soldiers in WW1 it is an effective pattern with circular & lozenge shaped panels contained within the interconnecting black border lines. There are painted markings to underside of rim reading '1K.20' ( 1st Kompanie , 20th regiment ) Marked to the underside of the shells rim 'Si66' for Silesia & has an M17 metal liner band & off white chromed leather pad holders.
