WW2 British Army GS Shovel 1943

Good example of the British infantry shovel with T handle & broad arrow stamp.
These were of course much used in all theatres by the British infantry often seen being carried into action as is evidenced by period photographs.
This example is maker marked & bears the date 1943 with WD broad arrow still visible.
Overall excellent example of this not so commonly seen piece of British Tommy kit.
