WW1 German Baden Mounted Artillery Officers Kugelhelme

A totally untouched helmet that has come straight out of private hands . The helmet itself is a mounted Baden Artillery officer pre/early Great war example all complete and in solid condition . Covering all of the gilt brass work is a heavy coat of nicotine , this forming a wonderful time capsule like patina . One rather nice element is how the rear most spike base attachment rivet has been replaced with a rank pip insignia . This replacement is in the same deeply patinated condition and clearly is thus very old . To the inner crown is a good makers trade sticker /label . The green ribbed silk liner curtains remain good.
