WW1 French Infantry Officers Early Horizon Blue Kepi

Rare early 1915/16 period private purchase field quality officers kepi showing many transitional features from the prewar issues into the new 1915 blue issues as here. A low fronted form of the officers polo style is evident here as well as the classic champagne lining of the earlier period.
Although having suffered with moth and some fade it is straight out of the loft & an untouched since WW1 time capsule piece.
