WW1 French 2L Waterbottle

French army 2 Litre waterbottle with Horizon blue cover denoting its issue with the M1915 uniform .
Interesting to note the utilisation of different offcuts of blue material for the cover , this was typical of the French army in WW1 where offcuts of uniform material were not wasted & used in the construction of helmet liners , waterbottle covers etc. Name label to bottom of bottle bears faint soldiers number. Both corks present & leather carrying strap intact.
