This is a piece of cut groundsheet from a French soldier who was a Prisoner of War of the Germans having his written his name & regiment & the camp he was kept at 'Stalag III A-5 ' Deutschland !
His rank of Sergent & regiment '5eme R-T-M' would certainly be researchable.
