WW1 US M17 Helmet Refurbished In Europe & With Thick Textured Camouflage Finish

A WW1 US M17 helmet that has been refurbished in Europe by the USQC & reissued to American troops in the field.
Interesting that this helmet has had two owners & that the helmet at some point needed refurbishment most likely as a result of damage received during combat. Ths marking of the USQC ( United States Quartermasters Corps ) can be seen to underside of liner & with green felt used in its reconstruction typical of these reissues. A thick granulated coating of khaki paint has also been reapplied to the exterior surface .
