WW2 British Made ETO Sniper Smock 1944

Rare camouflage smock as worn in Normandy by members of the US 2nd Armoured Division. This was part of the 'Suit, Snipers, U.S.A, E.T.O' as stated on the label & manufactured by 'Denham (1933) Ltd' in 1944. Made in the UK for use by American Forces the size is stated as '38R'. Single breasted and manufactured in cotton drill with a double sided 'frogskin' camouflage, printed in a green/summer colour on one side and brown/autumnal colour on the other. Large chest pockets are secured with buttoned flaps (straight) and with button adjustable cuffs. This is fully reversible with pockets and buttons on both sides . This example is in excellent condition and retains all of its original buttons . No damage , rips or tears & a very rare smock.
