Rare WW2 Czechoslovakian VZ25 Helmet
A rare example of the Czech VZ25 helmet which was manufactured from 1928 & used into the 1940s .
This pattern of helmet replaced the Adrian hemet used in WW1 & the VZ20 which came after it in the immediate post WW1 period. This VZ25 ( sometimes referred to as the VZ28) was a modified version of its era with a different shape & modified liner system. After this came the Vz30 then the more common Vz32 which became the standard Czech helmet of WW2. The Bohemian lion insignia centred the coat of arms of Slovakia stamped in a metal disc. These were first used by the Army & then Police forces & auxiliary organisations as later versions were manufactured.
Overall in excellent condiiton & a rare early helmet to find.
