WW2 French 'Battle For France' M26 Infantry Adrian

An untouched sleepy example of the French M26 Adrian helmet worn during the Battle For France in the summer of 1940 & offered here completely as it was worn then.
Finished in the khaki green of 1940 issue it sports the M15 roundel with flaming grenade of infantry/motorised machine gun troops firmly affixed to the front. Interior is complete with intact liner & chinstrap .
I have left all uncleaned & as found this helmet exuding the story of a hard fight in the defence of France whilst troops of the Wehrmacht swept through towards Paris.
