WW1 British Brodie Helmet

A super untouched example of the WW1 Brodie steel helmet with liner & leather chinstrap.
Exterior of shell has its totally original matt khaki finish achieved by mixing heavily granulated sand into the paint. Trench wear is evident throughout with this finish worn off in places. The original factory paint colour extends to the inside of the helmet.
The interior liner still has its drawstrung net with the inside felt crown padding remaining . This is the 1917 pattern with rubber ring present to inside of crown pad.
Chinstrap is original to the helmet & remains supple .
