WW2 British NFS Helmet Area 26 - Liverpool

A British firemans helmet from the National Fire Service area 26 which is Liverpool.
This is a very early issue the helmet being of an early rimless Mk1 pattern these were issued before the MkII became standard issue. Factory painted in a green hued khaki with undisturbed liner bolt to top of helmet. Interior has issue liner with web chinstrap having elasticity remaining.
