WW1 German M17 Steel Combat Helmet

A textbook WW1 German M17 helmet in excellent untouched condition & straight from the trenches of WW1.
With a very high percentage of its green factory paint remaining to exterior all three pins are undisturbed & totally original to the helmet . To interior the marking 'Si66' can be seen to underside of flared rim for the maker ' Eisenhutte Silesia' size 66 . The M17 metal liner band is intact with all three off white chromed leather cushion holders present. A handwritten name is faintly discernible to interior of shell. A good part of its original leather brass buckled chinstrap remains , this has a collector repair where part of the strap was detached & has been stapled back in place.
