WW2 British Womens A.T.S. Workers Overalls 1941
It is well known that in WW2 women carried out supporting roles such as storekeepers & ordnance personnel & so to prevent ruining their uniforms overalls were issued.
This is a scarce example of the first pattern dating from 1941 which had long sleeves closed at the cuffs with a brass dished button. The garment was worn wrapped across the body & secured by the two ties seen at the waist.
Still with clothing label intact & a size 6 it is dated 1941 & clearly WD stores coded.
Excellent unissued condition.
