WW2 German Tropical Used French Shirt

Favoured by German forces fighting in the tropics this is a French issue shirt with details of construction that point towards the 1941 pattern or certainly a close derivative.
In a very lightweight grey green cotton it is of note that the collar is non button down & rather 'bleached' in its outward appearance . French shirts of this period normally have button down collars so this may have been period replaced at some point. The point to the rear lower edge of the collar is very typical.
An approx size 44 inch chest with some stitch repairs in places.
