A totally original battlefield found WW1 German sniper shield with swivel peephole & supporting arm.
This heavy steel angled edged shield is one of many variants encountered these being well used by the troops with the risk of snipers ever present.
Having been ground recovered from the Western Front this iconic piece has had a protective anti rust coating applied.
