WW1 Australian Infantry Leather Cartridge Pouch Pair

A rare pair of the Australian issue brown leather cartridge pouches as were on issue to Australian troops in WW1.
Several patterns of these pouches existed varying from stud closed compartments to snap fastener closure as is the case here. The snap fasteners are specific to these pouches & are unlike other nations versions of the period. There are faint markings to the bottom of the rear strap where the manufacturer & date are stamped. The markings can be seen & may be discernible with closer scrutiny.
This rare pair of pouches are used but in very good condition.
