WW2 French ' Battle For France 1940 ' M35 Model Battle Damaged Waterbottle With Carrying Strap

A waterbottle with two bullet holes of the French M35 pattern of equipment with long carrying strap typical of those still in use during the Battle for France of Summer 1940.
On both sides of the brown felt covered bottle are two bullet/shrapnel holes one appearing to an entry & the other an exit. On the bottom of the bottle is the stitched on name label with handwritten name & cork stopper still present to spout. Leatherlace system still in place tying on the cover to the bronw painted bottle.
No doubt could tell a story & a superb relic from the Battle for France 1940.
