I am very pleased to be able to offer a fabulous recently acquired ersatz felt pickelhaube with name tag to an 'Ersatz' Squadron of ' Kurm Drag. Regt Nr.14' ( Kurmarkisches Drag. Regt 14 ) . Although cavalry troops received their own Dragoon helmets these were still in short supply & so most only received the standard ersatz infantry issues such as seen here.

Untouched WW1 German M16 steel combat helmet complete with original brown leather chinstrap.
Factory finished in the not often seen early apple green paint it has a similarly high quality finish to it interior. Underside of rim marked 'G62' for the firm 'Gebruder Gnichtel' The M16 leather liner system is in very good condition with pad holders still containing their cushions.

WW1 British Brodie Helmet
A super untouched example of the WW1 Brodie steel helmet with liner & leather chinstrap.
Exterior of shell has its totally original matt khaki finish achieved by mixing heavily granulated sand into the paint. Trench wear is evident throughout with this finish worn off in places. The original factory paint colour extends to the inside of the helmet.
