WW2 French Artillery Troops M26 Helmet - Battle For France 1940

WW2 French M26 Adrian helmet with crossed cannons to front for artillery troops.
These helmets were worn during the thick of the fighting during the 1940 Battle of France where brave defensive actions attempted to stem the German advance. This example is totally untouched & still with its original chinstrap which remains in good order. The factory paint is still largely intact with a couple of dents to its exterior most likely from this period. The Artillery troops badge to front is firmly affixed as it top comb. Original tightening lace still present to liner & left still fastened as it was worn.
Nice untouched helmet in very good condition.
