This is an original example of the sleeve gas detector brassard that was made from paper treated with Gas Detector paint. Upon the detection of sprayed blister gas the affected areas would turn red indicating personal decontamination was required by the soldier.

WW2 British MkII Steel Helmet 1943

A midwar British army MkII steel combat helmet in its original green factory paint with 1943 date to liner.
These helmets were on issue just before the new MkIII 'Turtle' helmets were introduced & are still seen very much in use during the fighting in N.W Europe .
With overall service wear there is a stack mark to top crown which I have made no attempt to remove.

WW1 US M17 Breeches

A very good condition pair of the Model 1917 US breeches with US Army marked buttons to waistband.
An approx 28-29 in waist with 60cm inside leg bearing in mind they are short as they were worn inside high leg boots.
