WW1 British Officers Sam Browne Pistol Holster

To hold the .455 Webley revolver on the Sam Browne equipment set this private purchase holster has a tab with hook to stop it sliding down the belt when in wear.
I am unable to find any markings .

WW1 French leather equipment belt marked to the 83rd Artillery Regiment.
French equipment changed from the prewar black to brown not long after the war started this being an example of a wartime manufacture with brass rivets & lacquered steel buckle. Artillery Regiment marking stamped in lozenge to interior of belt.  read more

A WW1 US ammunition box with souvenir painted name & unit to side. This box was used by the soldier to keep his service related items in & relates to a 'JH Earls' of the 26th Div. Artillery .
Of green painted wooden construction with a partially remaining web handle to top there are heavy duty steel fittings with hinge functioning correctly.  read more

WW1 US cartridge belt as used by troops armed with the rifle . These were also used by USMC troops after WW1 & also by some US troops in WW2 as has been evidenced by one period photograph in particular of German troops carrying captured American equipment after a battle. Marked to brass ends with patent dates & in good condition.  read more
