A fascinating British army AB64 paybook grouping to an infantry soldier who was in combat in the Western Desert , N.Africa & Normandy serving as a Bren Gunner in a Carrier platoon. As a result of all this he appears to have suffered combat stress & was sentenced to Military prison time following Court Martial.

On issue as part of the ration kit for German troops was the lesser found ration container for spices or salt.
In two pieces similar to the fat ration container it is deeper & has a seperate unscrewable well to the top .

WW1 US Infantry Disc Marked Canteen Set 1917

A WW1 US canteen that has 1917 dated cover with infantry identification equipment disc to front.
The tan canvas cover shows signs of much use with disc affixed to front reading ' 48G6' . Inside of cover has date 1917 with maker initials 'R.I.A' for the Rock Island Arsenal . Canteen marked ' US AGMCo 1918'.
