A totally untouched time capsule bring back piece . Well unit marked to the 13th infantry regiment “Herwarth von Bittenfeld” infantry regiment (1 st Westphalian) No. 13. An elegant high quality "Polo" form kepi ,as was of high fashion at the wars start . To the front is the number 7 in direct embroidered silver bullion wire,this unit being from Rouen . To the upper third of the kepi three bands of bullion braid indicate captain rank.
