WW2 British MkIII Turtle Helmet with Camouflage Net - Double 1944 dated

A MkIII ' Turtle ' helmet as issued to assault formations of the 21st Army Group just prior to the Normandy invasion & seen in wear on the beaches of D Day on the 6th June 1944. This piece has camouflage net fitted & is typical of those used by British infantry soldiers fighting in N.W.Europe.
