WW2 French 'Battle For France' M26 Adrian Engineers Steel Helmet

A classic Fall of France Engineers badged M26 large size Adrian helmet from the maker MAMOU of Marseille . There is a very good 1938 date stamp to the interior dome .
The badge is typical of the rapid mobilisation of troops and has been drawn from earlier stock , Liner and chinstrap are all there and good and supple . All paint work is untouched and nicely patinated .  read more

WW1 French M15 Zouve/Armee de Africa M15 Adrian Helmet

A textbook WW1 French "Armee d'Afrique" mustard finished M15 Adrian helmet with paint match insignia as worn by Zouves and some other elements of the Armee of Africa.

WW2 Hungarian M35-38 Pattern Steel Helmet

One of the so often missing pieces from most WW2 helmet collections is the Hungarian 35-38 . These were a domestically produced copy of the German M35 . WW1 French Soldiers Issue Ankle Boots.

A good pair of the classic rough out French soldiers ankle boots . This pair have good supple leather and are in a decent size for a midwar period mannequin display . The soles have all their nails and a round 5.15 stamp . There are further stamps inside each boot . Some of the brass eyelets are now missing however this does not effect fitting these with laces as the leather is good and strong .  read more

WW2 British Nelson Ship Souvenir Large Ink Well

A very nice and impressive double ink well of heavy proportions cast from materials scrapped from HMS Nelson . The Nelson had an impressive war history including support gun fire for the Normandy invasion where she was damaged . The model is from gun muzzle to rear of turret 23 cm and turret is 10cm wide . This weighs in at approximately 2.5 kgs of fine bronze.  read more

A nice display set of Canadian related ephemera . The reverse of the newspaper has a wonderful full page cartoon by Bing that would make a super piece if framed.
