WW2 Japanese Army Waterbottle - Pre 1940 Pattern Used Until 1945

Fine example of an early Japanese Army waterbottle this being the pre 1940 pattern although still in use up to 1945.
Webbing cradle all intact with owners initials stitched to front . The burn marks to paint are from where it was thawed out after Chinese winter freezing.  read more

WW2 British RAMC Mk1* Helmet 1938

A 1938 production British army helmet with insignia to side of the Royal Army Medical Corps.
This helmet is a true Mk1* as evidenced by its turned back chinstrap lug configuration & of rimless manufacture. Finished in rough textured factory khaki paint to outside & smooth to underside the liner cradle bears the clear 1938 date with 'VERO' maker . Underside of shell rim marked 'A/V'.  read more

WW1 British Named RFC Maternity Tunic To Shot Down & Captured Pilot

This wonderful plastron fronted tunic is in the wrapover 'maternity' style so called for its resemblance to clothing worn by pregnant women. There is a ' Hawkes & Co, Saville Row ' tailors label to the inside breast pocket giving the date . A rare textbook camouflage scrim netted 1944 dated example of the Mk2 British paratrooper helmet this piece being one of the first issued with the ' Third model' webbing chinstrap system.
