An excellent condition death scroll to a Major in the Yorkshire regiment who was a Military Cross winner killed on 5th January 1918 & is buried at the Railway Dugouts Burial Ground in Belgium. .
Condolence card of King George from Buckingham Palace to reverse.
Certainly worthy of further research into the life & service of this infantry regiment officer.

WW2 British Civilian Gas Mask & Private Purchase Case
British Civilian gas mask dated 1937 with canvas brown edged case & pop stud closing flap.
Both are used with a hole to perspex visor of mask & some storage marks. Case is intact with carry strap.

WW2 British AB64 paybook to a soldier of the REME together with the British war medal & 1939-45 Star in box of issue with mans matching name & address of Noblett. Also relating to the same mans war service is a letter from the Pensions Dept dated April 1944 stating that due to his being invalided out of war service he was entitled to the Kings badge which is also present in the group.... read more
