WW1 US M17 Breeches

A very good condition pair of the Model 1917 US breeches with US Army & USA marked buttons to front fly.
An approx 28-29 in waist with 62cm inside leg bearing in mind they are short as they were worn inside high leg boots.
There are a small number of hardly noticeable holes to be seen in places upon close inspection.  read more

A rare pair of the Australian issue brown leather cartridge pouches as were on issue to Australian troops in WW1.

WW1 Imperial German Map Marked To The 143rd ( 4th Lower Alsacian ) Infantry Regiment , XV Army Corps

This German map has map number & regimental marking ' 12 C JR143 ' for the 143rd Infantry Regiment . They were an Alsacian regiment raised in 1890 & part of XV Army Corps. Interestingly this map depicts the area from where the regiment were raised... Strasbourg , Mutzig.
No dates on the map however it is unlikely that it would have been produced in the post WW1 period.  read more

WW2 British Officer Post Home Parcel Of 'Gift Tea'

Sent home to a relative by a British officer serving overseas in the early part of WW2 this wooden box contains Ceylon tea with a 1937 dated Parcel Post customs declaration to its lid & a label stuck to the side entitled ' GIFT TEA FROM FORCES' . This label gives the sender as a Captain (S) F.J.Lloyd. The lid was originally nailed on however the tin foil wrapping can just be seen under the lid...  read more
