An early war private purchase RAF three sectioned officers waistbelt with sword hook.
These were only ever designed to carry sidearms although curiously had the provision for carriage of a sword with sword hook mounted into the webbing. This example is 'MECO' marked ( Mills Equipment Co ) & dated 1940.
