Interesting flashed helmet of the British Military Police with blue on red 'MP' insignia to front , red band & white Lance Corporal stripe to side.
The turtle shell is a wartime issue MkIII with 1944 date just about visible to inside of shell however the insignia & green paint is of the postwar era with liner dated 1952.
