WW1 British Named RFC Maternity Tunic To Shot Down & Captured Pilot
This wonderful plastron fronted tunic is in the wrapover 'maternity' style so called for its resemblance to clothing worn by pregnant women. A rare pair of '08 pattern cartridge pouches both made by MECo ( Mills Equipment Company ) & dated 1940. These are far rarer than their WW1 dated counterparts & are only really on a par with the hard to find 1914 dated examples.

A WW1 German surgeons kit being a leather wallet containing various surgical instruments. A calico leaf in the back served as a contents list & although now mostly faded the date of '17' can still be seen at the bottom. Many of the instruments are marked 'HAUPTNER'. read more

An untouched 1916 dated lobster tailed 'Metalhelme' of the Jager-zu-Pferde with nickel silver fittings & curved M1894 chinscales in brass denoting wear by Regiments 1 to 4 & 7 .

WW1 US 33rd Divisional Engineers Brodie Helmet
A WW1 US M17 steel Brodie helmet with yellow cross on black roundel to front for the 33rd Division this sumounting a red castle denoting Engineers.
Helmet retains a large proportion of its original rough textured khaki paint with liner & leather chinstrap intact. Underside of shell rim shows a heat lot number of ' 70257' with underside of liner giving date '9-18' ( September 1918. read more
