WW1 French 9th Infantry Regiment Officers Tunic 1914/15

An excellent WW1 French officers tunic of the 9th Infantry Regiment.
This tunic is in the style of the 1913 pattern with standup collar , tight fit & four pockets although in this case with the pockets concealed & exposed straight pocket flaps all most likley dating this tunic to around the late '14/ early '15 period. WW1 French 2L Waterbottle In Rare Horizon Blue

A WW1 French 2L waterbottle in light blue material & in quite excellent condition.
Made of a smooth blue almost felt like wool this is yet another excellent example of the myriad of different materials used in the construction of items from this period & indicative of the late 1914 early 1915 period when the standard uniform colour was changed to light 'Horizon' blue as we know it now. ...  read more

WW1 German Iron Cross First Class 1914- Third Reich Production

A very good convex Iron Cross First class in silver of Imperial Germany with 'W' cypher & 1914 to face.
When one examines the pin to the rear of the medal it is apparent that this is most likely an early WW2 produced example purchased by an officer for wear on his uniform . The number '800' is visible to the bottom edge of the reverse.  read more

WW1 British '08 Pattern Brace Attachments

Probably the rarest component of '08 pattern equipment to find today we recently found this pair of the 1908 pattern webbing brace attachments as used by machine gun crews, tank crews & Other Ranks in the Royal Flying Corps to name a few.
Both are marked 'HGR' for the firm Hepburn , Gale & Ross with date 1918 . These are practically impossible to find & the only pair I have seen outside...  read more
