WW2 German M36 Tunic ( Pink/Armoured Collar Litzen )
An early M36 combat tunic with dark green collar having pink piped collar litzen.
Tunic has four pleated pockets with five button front & twill lining having internal loops to hold the pre 1939 early equipment strap system . WW2 British Welsh Regiment Sun Helmet 1940
A 1940 dated sun helmet recently purchased in Germany with white , red & green insignia of the Welsh Regiment on left side.
Helmet has a white paper label with maker ' KAMALALAYA EXPORT LTD 1940' & broad arrow mark. There is the faint trace of a pencil drawn swastika type symbol on the front of the helmet , quite probably a German captured piece from one of the early Mediterranean batt... read more
WW1 US Respirator & Haversack
A scarce 1917 pattern First World War US soldiers 'ASBR' gas mask or American Small Box Respirator complete with 1917 dated haversack .
Americas late entry into the war required a wide issue of equipment to her troops including the threat of gas attack having to be considered. This was a copy of the British Box Respirator & is very similar in appearance.

WW2 German Cold Weather Surcoat
Designed for wear in extreme cold weather the surcoat differed slightly from the standard greatcoat in some minor details & was designed to be worn over it in extreme cold temperatures.
With grey blanket lining there are two straight hand warming pockets to each side & loops to each side of the rear on which the greatcoat corners could be hooked up if required.

A timecapsule piece in every sense of the expression this Saxon pickelhaube has markings to the rear peak of the 182nd Infantry Regiment who fought at the Western Front notably at the Battles of the Marne & the Somme.
