A late WW1 Canadian item of issue cold weather gear this is the cap that came with ear flaps which could be pulled down over the ears.

A heavily used Garand cartridge belt in tan webbing with all of its charger divider straps still present.
The 'US' stamp is still visible to front pouch & there is one make fastener minus from this same pouch.

Trousers have deep belt loops & are in the Navy blue of the Royal marines.
