A wonderful little crudely put together souvenir grouping of WW1 insignia all individually mounted onto a 'Wild Woodbine Cigarettes Packet of 5 ' advertising card of the period . Early WW2 French Issue Waterbottle

A scarce example of the 1877 model of French waterbottle in the classic interwar brown colour of French troops.
1935 saw the introduction of a new equipment set for the French soldier however these older issues were very much still in use in 1940. Of two litre capacity , this example is complete with carrying strap .
