It is well known that in WW2 women carried out supporting roles such as storekeepers & ordnance personnel & so to prevent ruining their uniforms overalls were issued.

An excellent condition death scroll to a Major in the Yorkshire regiment who was a Military Cross winner killed on 5th January 1918 & is buried at the Railway Dugouts Burial Ground in Belgium. .
