A very good convex Iron Cross First class in silver of Imperial Germany with 'W' cypher & 1914 to face.
When one examines the pin to the rear of the medal it is apparent that this is most likely an early WW2 produced example purchased by an officer for wear on his uniform . The number '800' is visible to the bottom edge of the reverse.  read more
